This option enables us to re-engineer the entire press back to the original Heidelberg standards.
 
Our refurbishment process is as follows:
 
The press is fully dismantled of the feeder, delivery, top caps, cylinder, bed, con rod, crankshaft and gearbox leaving us with a completely empty base.
 
All main units and components are fully cleaned and prepared for painting.
 
The entire Heidelberg cylinder including the inside of the side-frames, base and external guards are repainted Heidelberg grey with all internal guards repainted Heidelberg black.
 
The following Heidelberg parts are fitted as standard:
 
Impression screws, chains, cylinder grippers, chain grippers, carriage grippers, feeder grippers, feeder pile gears, feeder drum, feeder ratchets, delivery pile gears, feeder and delivery pile shaft conversion, delivery wire ropes, chase lock screws, cylinder brush, air pipe and pump stud kits.
 
Any additional Heidelberg parts that are worn are automatically replaced.
 
The main motor is sent away for checking with new commutator brushes fitted.
 
The bed is ground to accept a maximum rule height of 23.80mm. 
 
A new badge is fitted. 
 
A HSE guard kit is fitted to the cylinder and bed which is mechanically and electrically interlocked.  In addition we can fit swing arm and delivery guarding to the Heidelberg cylinder.
 
The electrical panel is fully rebuilt replacing relays, fuses, overload, contactors, wiring, terminals, isolators and din rail.  A dedicated stop circuit relay system is fitted which all conform to current CE directives.  In addition we can add an electronic braking system with safety stop buttons fitted around the Heidelberg machine to act upon in an emergency.
 
All new armoured cable is fitted externally.
 
The Heidelberg cylinder is supplied with 2 metal delivery trolleys, 2 chases, 1mm and 1.5mm bedplates, metal side table, hardened steel Heidelberg cylinder jacket, drip tray and all tools and consumables.
 
12 months Heidelberg parts and labour warranty is supplied to UK Mainland only. 
 
12 months Heidelberg parts only warranty is supplied overseas.
